I have been an active investor since 1999 at the age of 18. Over the years I have learned to execute the principles of what I call “information arbitrage”, where asymmetric risk/reward is a key factor in each investing decision regardless of asset class.

$30,000 to $20M+ in ROUGHLY A DECADE

I took a $30,000 401k loan in late 2012 when I worked in corporate America for my first real bet on my information arbitrage concept in urban real estate downtown in my hometown of Charleston, SC. In the years since, that $30,000 is worth $20M+ which I’ve made largely between short-term rentals (STRs) and Bed & Breakfast (B&B) properties and my STR management company, CVP.
